Chad Allen

In the October 9, 2001 issue of The Advocate, Chad first announced he was gay, after The Globe had published compromising photographs of Allen in a hot tub with another man in 1996. He also acknowledged past problems with drugs and alcohol. Chad has also spoken to a number of groups and at events about gay rights issues including taking part in a forum on Larry King Live concerning gay marriage. He has also lent his support to a large number of charities over the years, including the American Diabetes Association, The March of Dimes, Project Angel Food, the Autistic Children's Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund, AIDS Project Arizona, and AIDS Project Los Angeles.
Joey Lawrence

Joseph "Joey" Lawrence (born Joseph Lawrence Mignona, Jr. on April 20, 1976) is an American comic actor. He became successful through the TV show Blossom in the 1990s, in which he played the character Joey Russo, a dim-witted but handsome young man who frequently uttered a term that became a touchstone for the era, "Whoa." At that time he used his nickname Joey. In later years he switched to Joseph. He was born in Abington, Pennsylvania and began acting at a very young age. He has starred in shows such as Gimme a Break!, American Dreams, Brotherly Love and Run of the House. He has two brothers, actors Matthew Lawrence and Andrew Lawrence. One of Joseph's international movie credits was Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000) in which he costarred with Jennifer Morrison, Matthew Davis and Hart Bochner. In early 2006, a bald headed Lawrence, wearing earrings, made a cameo appearance in a commercial for Ice Breakers gum with sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff, ending the ad with his trademark, "Whoa." Later, sporting his "new look", Lawrence had a recurring role on the UPN sitcom Half and Half as Brent. Joseph also had a short-lived music career. While a teenage heart-throb and famous from the TV show Blossom, he recorded his debut album, Joey Lawrence, in 1993. The album was produced by US producers, such as Terry Lupton (Michael Learns To Rock, Jamie Stevens, Apollonia Kotero), Elliot Wolff (Paula Abdul), and Ian Price (Sheena Easton). The album included the international hit single "Nothin`My Love Can't Fix" (US #19, UK #13). Two more singles from this album also managed to crack the UK Top 50 ("I Can't Help Myself" #27, "Stay Forever" #41). A second album, Soulmates, followed four years later, but it did not produce any hit singles.
Sean Faris

Sean H. Faris (b. March 25, 1982 in Houston, Texas) is an American actor who most recently starred in FOX's Reunion. In early 2006, Reunion was cancelled by FOX due to poor ratings. This was Sean's second show, which had massive cult appraisal.

An alumnus of Padua Franciscan High School in Parma, Ohio, he was one of only a few non-Catholic students on the campus. He lived in Texas where an area of Baptists resides and then moved to Parma, Ohio. Faris decided to become an actor at the age of 17. He began his acting and modeling career in Cleveland at Barbizon, and later moved to the International Model and Talent Association with Stone Model & Talent.

Sean has starred in many different projects, including the two teleivision shows which got canceled Life As We Know It, and Reunion. He has also had small and large roles in many films like remake Yours, Mine and Ours as William Beardsley and guest star roles on other television shows.
Cars From Around the World

The Plymouth Prowler is a "retro"-styled production car, with the body produced in Shadyside, Ohio, USA from 1997 till 2002. It features a powertrain lifted from Chrysler's LH-cars, with a 253 hp 3.5 L SOHC V6 engine occupying the usual underhood area, but with the 4-speed automatic transmission relocated to the rear; the two are joined by a flexible driveshaft which rotates at engine speed similar to the C5 Corvette. The car features much aluminum in the chassis. In many cases, the components are adhesive bonded. One of the most striking features of the car is the open, Indy-racer-style front wheels. The design of the Prowler was said to have been done by Chrysler engineers after they were given free reign over whatever they wanted in a "hot rod" or "sportster" type car.

Antonio Sabato Jr.

Antonio Sabàto Jr. (born February 29, 1972) is an American actor. The son of Antonio Sabàto (an Italian actor), and his Czech-born wife Yvonne Kabouchy he was born in Rome, Italy. They moved to the United States when he was 12 and he became a naturalized citizen of the United States in November, 1996. He remains perhaps most famous as being a Calvin Klein underwear model. Masterly promoted CK-campaign allowed him into acting. He starred on the soap opera General Hospital as "Jagger Cates" (1992 - 1994, 1995), Earth 2, and on Melrose Place, to acclaim, as the sexy but menacing Jack Parezi. In 1990, he appeared in Janet Jackson's Love Will Never Do (Without You) music video along with actor Djimon Hounsou. He also played a part in the movie The Big Hit (1998) showing him (not lead star Mark Wahlberg, another former CK model) naked in a locker room. In 2005, Sabàto Jr. joined the cast as Dante Damiano on the soap The Bold and the Beautiful.

Blast From the Past

Game Boy

The original Game Boy was released on April 21, 1989 in Japan and in August 1989 in the United States with an MSRP of US$100. Based around a Z80 processor, it has a black and green reflective LCD screen, an eight-way directional pad, two action buttons, and Start and Select buttons. It plays games from ROM-based media contained in small plastic detachable units called cartridges (sometimes abbreviated as carts or GamePaks).

Game Boy Pocket

In 1996, Nintendo released the Game Boy Pocket, a smaller, lighter unit that required fewer batteries. It has space for 2 AAA batteries, which provides roughly 10 hours of game play. The Pocket has a smaller link port, which requires an adapter for linkage with the older Game Boy. The port design is used on all subsequent Game Boy models up until the Game Boy Micro. The screen was changed to a true black-and-white display, rather than the "pea soup" monochromatic display of the original Game Boy. The first version did not have a LED to show battery levels, but was soon added due to public demand.

Game Boy Color

Released in November 1998, the Game Boy Color (also referred to as GBC) added a color screen to a form factor slightly larger than the Game Boy Pocket. It also has double the processor speed, twice as much memory, and an infrared communications port. Technologically, it was likened to the 8-bit NES video game console from the 1980s. A major draw of the Game Boy Color is its backward compatibility (that is, a Game Boy Color is able to read older Game Boy cartridges and even play them in selectable color). This feature works for almost every game: the most notable exception being the Galaga/Galaxian game for the original Game Boy in which some of the sound effects were missing or garbled. This backwards compatibility became a major feature of the Game Boy line, since it allowed each new launch to begin with a significantly larger library than any of its competitors.

Game Boy Advance

On June 11, 2001, Nintendo released a significant upgrade to the Game Boy line. The Game Boy Advance (also referred to as GBA) featured a 32 bit 16.8 MHz ARM. It included a Z80 processor for backward-compatibility support, and sported a larger, 16:9 screen. It was technically likened to the SNES and showed its power with successful ports of Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island. It has also been accompanied alongside new titles such as Mario Kart Super Circuit and F-Zero: Maximum Velocity. It also introduced the L and R shoulder buttons to the Game Boy. It is, however, more powerful than the SNES, as can be seen from several successful 3D games that were made for it that featured much better graphics than any of the SNES games. A drawback of the Game Boy Advance is that the unit has no backlit screen, although it was a color screen, which made seeing the screen in some lighting conditions difficult.

Game Boy Advance SP

Launched on March 21, 2003, the Game Boy Advance SP resolved several problems with the original model. It features a new smaller clamshell design with a flip-up screen (protecting the screen, an issue with the original), an internal light, and a rechargeable battery, but was otherwise unchanged. Owners of the original Game Boy Advance received a special limited offer to trade their old models into Nintendo and merely pay the difference on the Advance SP. Contrary to very popular belief, SP does not stand for Special Project, but simply Special. It is possible that it once officially stood for Special Project. In mid September 2005, Nintendo released a new model that featured a new and improved backlit screen. As of this writing, the Game Boy Advance SP is the last Game Boy handheld to offer backward compatibility with all Game Boy games. The Game Boy Advance SP is criticized for not being as comfortable as the original Game Boy Advance, due to its shorter width

Game Boy Micro

A third Game Boy Advance design, the Game Boy Micro is four inches wide, two inches tall, and weighs 2.8 ounces. By far the smallest Game Boy created, it is approximately the same dimensions as an original NES controller pad. Its screen is slightly smaller than the SP and GBA screens while maintaining the same resolution (240 × 160 pixels). The Game Boy Micro is not backwards compatible with Game Boy or Game Boy Color games and only plays Game Boy Advance games. It was first released in Japan September 13, 2005, then it was released. September 19, 2005 in North America and lastly, Europe, on November 4, 2005.
