He currently stars as Lieutenant Karl "Helo" Agathon on the Sci Fi Channel television program Battlestar Galactica. Among his previous work are stints on assorted Canadian TV series such as Cold Squad. Tahmoh is the son of former Yukon premier Antony David John 'Tony' Penikett. Tahmoh, his father, and his twin sisters Sarah and Stephanie make their home in Vancouver, British Columbia. Tahmoh graduated from the Victoria Motion Picture School and studied at the Lyric School of Acting in Vancouver.
